Now, wait just a minute! Don't just scroll over me - puh-leas. I'm Tohru and I've been a hardwork'n mama for my whole life! I came to Fetch with a bellyful of pups and their baby daddy. Guess who birthed them? Raised them? Got bitten, chased, harassed and kept up at night by those little goblins? Me! And they all got adopted before me,(even their dad!)
I'm finally experiencing some piece and quiet, but I want a home of my own.
Let me give you the run down. I'm sweet and love to be pet. I want to be in the room with you and see what your up to. I don't need constant attention, I'm a Shiba after all. I do enjoy an occasional cheese or biscuit.
I. Love. Toys. I like to shake them and rip them and make them squeak for mercy! I like tug toys too. I'm potty trained and kennel trained. Cats are fine, dogs are fine, but I could be okay by myself. I think.
Pretty good right? Now, I'll admit, I have some flaws. I don't like leashes.
I'll let you know if there is stranger danger.
I don't like things that beep and boop. I'll tell your coffee maker, oven timer and fire alarm to shut it. Same for dogs barking in movies.
Most days I'm content to quietly pace around the house, but sometimes ... I burst. Everything gets a barked at. The squirrels, and that leaf, your ancestors. I just have to let my feelings be known! I'm working on it, I promise, but venting is the only way for me to work through it right now. My fosters put me in my pen when I get overwhelmed and it normally helps.
Phew. Sorry. That seemed like a lot, but honestly I'm a really good girl! I just need some of the tender loving care that I've been dooling out so long.
