I know, I know, Qtip is kind of a silly name. My foster mom prefers to call me Cutie or Mama. You see, the first 8 1/2 years of my life, I was forced to have puppies over & over. I’m finally free of that, but this new world is very scary for me. When I’m unsure of things (like some movements or unexpected noises), I may bark, growl, or even whine. At times, I even get nervous when you make eye contact with me.
With that said, having another dog in the home is beneficial to help me build confidence while also having a companion. I’m working on house training and walking on a leash. Now I may sound like a challenge, right? Let me share some of my positive qualities. I like to be petted gently and talked to in a loving voice. I really like my crate, especially when I share it with another dog. Oh, and I love to eat! Best of all, I want to be near my person and as I've grown more comfortable, I have started running around & wagging my tail! Are you a special adopter ready to help me learn to trust and enjoy life? If so, ask to meet Qtip.
