Hi there, I’m Annie Rose! I’m a 3 yr old sweet, gentle Golden Retriever who is still learning what it means to just be a dog. You see, I spent my early life as a breeder dog, so things like leashes, pottying outside, and playing with toys are all new to me. But guess what? I’m learning so fast!
At first, I was really shy and unsure of everything, but my foster family has shown me that humans can be kind and loving. Now, I adore belly rubs, gentle pets, and snuggling up with my people. I also love chewing on bones, and I’m even starting to figure out how fun stuffies can be!
Because I’m still gaining confidence, I’d do best in a home with a fenced yard where I can explore safely. Another doggy friend would be wonderful, too—I feel so much braver when I have a buddy to show me the ropes!
I’m still working on potty training and getting used to this whole “leash” thing, but with patience and love, I know I’ll get there. If you’re looking for a kind-hearted, gentle soul who just needs a little extra time to blossom, I could be the perfect match for you!
