Hi there, I’m Ceci

I’m a 9-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd, and if you’re looking for a calm, quirky, loyal companion, well that’s me!

I’m a girl who loves her routine. I like knowing what’s happening around the house, like when breakfast is served, where the comfiest nap spots are, if your going to drop a snack on the floor.

I’m not needy, I just prefer to be where you are! I think every home should have a dog bed in everyroom, but I’ll still hop up in your bed for morning snuggles when the time feels right.

I get along great with other dogs and even cats (if they leave me alone that is), though I might try to herd them once in a while, but what can I say, instincts! I don’t really play with them much, but I do enjoy having a friend around. I’m potty trained, walk beautifully on a leash, and I’m just as happy hanging out at home as I am tagging along for a stroll.

I’ll admit, I am shy when meeting new people. It takes me a while to warm up to people. But given time (and a few treats), and I’ll warm up. Once I trust you, you’ll get to see my silly side, like when I do happy spins for breakfast and dinner, or talk to you when I hear your car pulling into the driveway.

My dream home? A calm, quiet place with cozy beds, a solid routine, and a human or two who appreciates a low-key, quirky companion. No little kids for me though, I’m living that peaceful retired dog lifestyle now.
