I'm Ceci,
My journey has been a little different from most pups. I didn’t have much interaction with people growing up, but don’t worry, I’ve got plenty of quirks that will surely win your heart!
I come from a big family – seven siblings, to be exact. Though I was the smallest, my spirit is anything but! Now, let me be upfront: I used to be very shy, and it was tough for me to accept affection. It took some time and a lot of patience from my foster mom to build trust. But once I did, I found out I really love being petted! I’ve even started enjoying belly rubs – how cool is that? Snuggling too, but I’ll admit, it has to be on my terms. Sometimes new situations can still intimidate me, and I might need a minute to warm up. I promise I’ll get there. Especially if you come with food. New people might be a bit scary, but new people with snacks? Definitely not!
Speaking of food, I’m highly motivated by it! I’m not shy about showing my excitement, especially around breakfast and dinner. I even like to do little spin exercises when mealtime rolls around – it’s my special routine!
Now, about walks – I love them! I walk on a leash well, but I do have a funny quirk: I tend to zigzag behind you. Well, because I like to herd! It’s all part of my charm! I’ve recently discovered herding gives me a sense of purpose, and I absolutely love it. I’m not your typical herding dog, but I do like to herd my fellow dogs. Some of them might not understand my herding instincts, so I need dog friends who are easygoing and won’t mind my little quirks.
My ideal home? I picture a calm, environment, free from little kids. A predictable routine is key because I LOVE knowing how the day goes.I’d thrive with someone who has patience and a genuine desire for companionship. I would also prefer not to be left home alone for long stretches – when I get bored, I have this quirky habit of drinking way too much water. Weird, I know! But hey, I’m learning to use a doggie door, so if you have one of those, we’re good!
Trust me, I’m an easygoing companion who may need a little time to show my true colors.
So, what do you think? If you’re looking for a quirky, lovable pup who will bring lots of personality (and spins) into your life, I’m your girl!
